If you can push through it, you will encourage somebody. Today, hopefully through what I did today, somebody was uplifted.

We're in a tough place in this world. There are a lot of kids giving up very early. Scripture says it takes a village to raise one child, and that's what these coaches are going to have to go back and understand.

There's no "I" on the football field. We have a total commitment to each other when we're out there. There is no doubt. It doesn't matter. The wins and losses of the game don't resonate with us. What resonates with us is "how much effort would you give for the man next to you."

I don't want to be liked. I want to be respected. Because if you like me you can throw me away too quick. If you respect me, you may not even like what I was wearing, but you'll say, "I respect that."

You have to be careful of people who like to talk a big game but can't back it up.
